My Accessed Game is where I choose one of the games I have made except the maze game to further develop. I have chosen the FPS Zombie Game and made the mechanics: Objective Board, Flashlight, Random Zombie Spawner, Select Zombie Spawner, Teleport, Game Win Function, Camera Shake, Sounds, Flickering Light and Finally Designed the map. These mechanics and map design pair well for the experience of danger, fear and zombies.

I made a Game that focuses on being a 2D Platformer styled Game within Unreal. It made focus from a 3D to a 2D Perspective as well as re-learning most mechanics and methods into developing a 2D world for the player. I've made a Main Menu, Game Over, and Player HUD UI. As well as furthering this and making moving 2D Enemies from left to right with animations and diamonds that you need from a certain amount in order to progress to the next level through the use of a flag pole by stepping into with the character. It was shown to be inspiring and fun to go into the 2D Dimension. Moreover, I learned proper level design and how to structure my foreground, background, enemies, character, diamond and spikes onto my map!

This non-accessed game gave me a good learning experience to gain experience and knowledge about AI mostly by how the animations work such as taking damage or attacking the player, the blackboard: like as creating specific tasks as movement, randomised movement and attacking the player and behaviour tree within this game. Moreover, this game project taught me how to utilise functions more efficiently and first person animations such as the arms moving when the player moves and being in a idle state. As well as I got to experiment with a starting menu screen such as Starting the Game and Quiting the Game with a mouse click. Finally, the player has their Ammo and Health tied to their UI from their player, updating real time input with how much Ammo they spend or take in and how much health they gain or lose.

Trash Collector Game

The Trash Collector Game is a 2D perspective onto a 3D world. It showcases how the player can move left to right with the keys: A and D. It's a simplistic goal of the game, you have lives and you have a score at the top to dedicate how far you will progress till you lose all your lives. This taught me the basics of character creation and development in blueprint scripting, level placement for the background and for the falling trash items with Trash Spawners which led to an introduction to spawning randomised items, it also increased my knowledge and usage on lightning: with sky light, sky atmosphere and directional light, It also enhances my knowledge on the player's HUD blueprint script and overall enhancing my scripting knowledge on Unreal's blueprint system with functions, construction scripts and etc. The creation and development of this game has taught me how to create, utilise and effectively model the level, character and the gameplay mechanics into a further level of expertise.

My First Maze Game on Unreal

My First Game on the Unreal Engine was to construct a maze project. As you can see to the right side, this gave me beginner experience on how to use the mechanics, designing process and blueprint system to functionalise a first person running timed experience for a player. Furthermore, this assisted me in learning how to use proper level design for the player to not find it too difficulty and not too easy as well as game over mechanics in which the player can quit the experience or retry the level again, making them able to do the playthrough multiple times if they wished.  Moreover, I also utilised winning and losing mechanics in which if the player reached the end, they win and if the timer ran out from 60 seconds than they lost. This guarantees a rush for the player to reach the end with pace.
